You have two candidates…
One is extremely brilliant with an impressive resume who smells like a bag of dirty gym clothes.
The other is as dumb as a door nail, but promises to learn what you teach them, and has no B.O.
Which one would you choose?
Believe it or not, this tells a great deal about your character.

Well Worth It 
I would need to know a lot more about both candidates. Is the dumb one teachable? Does he have the ability to learn? Is the qualified one humble and willing to adjust his techniques to suit the business before trying to change it? These things all matter in my opinion.
