It’s here… the month we’ve all been waiting for! The month full of cookies, and hot chocolate, and holiday cheer. Okay, maybe I sounded a bit like Will Ferrell in Elf, but I think December is just about everyone’s favorite month – or at least in the top 5.

The song I’m going to share with you literally has nothing to do with Christmas or the holiday season other than the fact that the word peppermint is used in it, but I think it just might be my favorite track at the moment.

If you’re unfamiliar with Chance the Rapper you should probably do some research on him right now before he takes over the music industry in Michael Jackson fashion and you’re very quickly “behind the times.” Chance has started a movement known as The Social Experiment. Chance is giving every member of his band an opportunity to release their own project featuring Chance himself and other talented individuals from SOX. Donnie Trumpet, is the first to release his own project entitled “Surf” and the single was released last week, being played on repeat across America ever since.

“Sunday Candy” is a song like no other. Drawing on hip-hop and gospel elements, being compared to “the climax of a romantic comedy.” This track will bring you to your feet and you just can’t help but dance and sing along.
