There are two types of people out there; people that love cookies & brownies and people that love brownies & cookies. Some people may prefer one over the other, but I think it’s impossible to not love both. That being said, I was inspired the other day by a Toll House box at the grocery store that merged the two and I couldn’t believe I didn’t think of it sooner!
It’s twice the amazing-ness, which means it will be twice the work, but I guarantee you it’s worth it.
Prepare your brownie mix as usual. Whether you make it from scratch or buy it, you’ll still need eggs, canola oil & water. I always use a bit more oil than water for a more fudgey consistency but that’s all up to you. I took it to a whole ‘nother level by adding Toll House peanut butter filled chocolate chips to the brownie batter. It makes these a lot richer, but I was making them for a Reeses lover so I added a special touch.
You do the same thing with the chocolate chip cookie dough; I usually follow the recipe on the back of the Toll House chocolate chip bag.
Once the brownie batter is complete, pour it into a greased baking pan (8×8 glass works best), then spoon teaspoons of the cookie dough sporadically on top.
Bake on 325 for 50 minutes, or until a fork inserted in the middle comes out clean & enjoy!
