No Monkey Business: Nashville’s Best Kept Valentine’s Dinner Secret

If you live in Nashville & you think of Frothy Monkey, chances are you’re thinking of a great cup of coffee! Frothy Monkey is so much more than your typical coffee shop, however, & they prove that with their “Frothy Love”, three-course, Valentine’s Day dinner. When you’re planning to go out for Valentine’s Day you’re probably thinking about three things; quality, price, & atmosphere. If you want to check off all of those boxes, there’s no better place than the Frothy Monkey in 12 South. While Frothy Monkey offers their Valentine’s dinner at almost all of their locations, there’s something about the romantic, candle-lit atmosphere in their cozy 12 South spot that makes you feel like you’re anywhere but a busy downtown street.

For just $50 per couple, they offer three-courses of locally-sourced ingredients prepared by their chefs & bakers alike. The first course is usually a choice of salads or a cheese plate, followed by three entrée options that always include something for vegetarian diners. One dessert to share always combines the flavors of Valentine’s Day with classic combinations like dark chocolate, bourbon, & raspberries. For an additional $25, lovebirds can add on a bottle of wine from Frothy’s hand-picked selections.

No matter what day of the week Valentine’s Day falls on, Frothy Monkey offers their dinner for the entire Valentine’s weekend. While you can’t make reservations in advance, day-of call ahead seating is available & walk-ins are welcome. With thoughtfully-sourced ingredients from regional farms & producers, everything is fresh & unique, while still maintaining the classic flavors you’d expect for a romantic date night. For just $75 (if you plan to add the wine), you can get a cozy, three-course meal for two that is delicious without breaking the bank!
