“I pull you close, so much to lose knowing that nothing lasts forever
I didn’t care before you were here.
I danced in laughter with the ever after
But all things change
Let this remain.”
Normally I try to post new music for you guys, but sometimes I can’t help but embrace my inner 90’s child and vibe out to some Goo Goo Dolls, Vertical Horizon, or the number one pick today, Pearl Jam.
There is something about this kind of transy-vibe that really draws me in. If you can’t follow along with the lyrics while you listen, I would suggest looking them up for this song. They are so, so beautiful. Almost like a poem.
We know as humans that nothing lasts forever. Anything can happen at any moment. I was taught this at a young age, so I always make it a point to wear my heart on my sleeve. I tell everyone how I feel at the exact moment I feel it, and I never leave someone I love without that being the last thing I tell them.
That lesson is basically laced throughout this song, underscored by an incredible band, and tight guitar solo.
I think that since I have this on repeat right now during my lunch break, it’s only fair for me to share it with all of you.
I promise once you listen to it, you won’t be able to stop.
Happy lunching! 🙂
