mood beaters: reminiscing

You gotta be bad. You gotta be bold. You gotta be wiser…. you know every word, we all know it.

You hear Jewel’s “You Were Meant For Me” and go back to when you used to always stare out the window and pretend you were in a music video.

Every time the beginning chords to “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton come on, you shriek like a seventeen year old sliding across the catering hall in your stockinged feet to join your circle of your friends on the dance floor.

The Dixie Chick’s “Wide Open Spaces” make you feel like you’re not settled in your life at all and you probably need to travel cross country and work at diners along the way.

These songs were my childhood (hopefully yours too, and if not then you’ve got 3.5 hours of music to get schooled on) and they make me feel a certain type of way. I could not think of a better way to celebrate TODAY being four years of my blog officially being live at livewellslatest.com. So much has changed in four years, but somehow I always find time to come on here and write about all of my favorite things, that I hope become some of yours.

If you don’t spend all weekend reliving the late 90s with this playlist and you’re honestly doing it wrong.

On a scale of 1 to Well Worth It... What did you think?
