We’re back at it to tell you all about McCalls Carpet One here in Bellevue (right outside of Nash)! With Stores across the U.S., Carpet One has access to all of the mills & manufactures to make sure product wait times are the best around. When you pair that with a locally-run store right here in Nashville, you get the best of both worlds; the feeling of dealing with someone who truly cares about your home, with the resources of a huge conglomerate.

Picking out new carpets for the bedrooms at our house was first on our list. I posted in a lot of local Facebook groups to ask about the best stores in town & it was almost unanimous for McCalls. When we walked in, we were greeted by Mike, who took time to ask us about our new home & made the entire experience feel so personable. He showed us all of our options for carpet loop, texture, color, & plushness. It took us a short amount of time to figure out which we loved & he let us take home the entire sample board to make sure the color would really work in our space.

The next day, Mike was at our house measuring the rooms & taking the board back with him to make the entire process effortless for us. From there, he emailed us our personal quote & it was off to the races! Because I partnered with McCalls for a feature, I also got to chat with the owner, Carl, who was so kind & so excited to support a local female entrepreneur, which says a lot about their company, & it’s mission.

3 weeks later, we were letting in the carpet installer to get to work in our home & boy, did it feel good to see the old carpets get torn up! They had pulls, stains, & patches where it was so worn you could see the sub-floor. PRO TIP: pay more for the mat underneath your carpet than the plushness of the carpet itself. It makes ALL the difference!

From start to finish, I can’t say enough good things about McCalls Carpet One! Working one-on-one with the same person through the entire process is something you just don’t get anymore & it made the entire experience so special. We never felt lost & had every question answered quickly! The install for all three rooms & closets took about 4 hours total. We were shocked at how quickly one person did the job & it just goes to show they don’t skimp on quality with any part of their business! If you’re looking for new floors of any kind, I highly recommend heading to McCalls for the best staff, selection, & prices! Trust me, I did the research so you don’t have to!
