“We gotta stay together til the sun comes down.”

This is the most feel good song I have ever heard. I mean it. I love music from every generation. From Duke Ellington to Drake. This song just does something to me though. Maybe because I have memories attached to it. Maybe because of the lyrics that really speak to me as a college student transitioning into this thing they call, “the real world.”

Whatever the reason. I felt the need to share this with you all.

I saw Radical Something last night when they performed at my school’s Spring Weekend Carnival (a huge reason you haven’t heard from me in a few days) (call it my allotted vacation time).

The best way to listen to this would be driving down a tree-lined road on a Spring day with all of your windows down and sound turned to 40. But, if you’re driving on that road today, I really hope you aren’t reading this post. That’s just dangerous.

So I guess listening online will do. Just clothes your eyes. Really take in the words. Feel the beat. The hook. The language.
