The Nashville Zoo isn’t at any typical zoo. It’s actually a pretty hopping (no pun intended) place for people of all ages to be throughout the year – especially the Summer. The one thing it’s most known for every year though, especially with the 21+ crowd, is Brew at the Zoo. You might remember my coverage of last year’s Brew at the Zoo in the pouring rain, but if you don’t, you can refresh your memory here.
Last week I had the pleasure of joining hundreds of local Nashvillians at the 2017 Brew at the Zoo on a perfect, clear Summer night. The zoo closed for anyone who wasn’t attending the event, which made for an enjoyable experience of sampling different and unique brews, both local and not-so local, and bonding with the animals for some one-on-one time.
I sort of think the best part of any event is the food and Brew at the Zoo definitely didn’t cut any corners this year with their abundant amount of food trucks. As always, the event was sponsored by M.L. Rose who also offered free cheese fries to all of the attendees the next time they stop into their local M.L. – MAJOR.SCORE.
The live music this year was eclectic – from 80’s rock cover bands to front porch blue grass – you didn’t miss a beat no matter where you journeyed.
If you’re in Nashville, or at least like to vacation here every Summer like the 13.1 million other people who do – Brew at the Zoo is a must attend for next year! See you there!
