Typically I don’t do these type of posts. Outfit of the day posts that is. But it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me and I didn’t want you to think I was ghosting you. Actually it’s been the total opposite. I’ve been thinking about my blog A LOT. I just haven’t had the time to sit down and really dedicate a few minutes to sharing my feelings, thoughts, pictures of food, etc. with all of you.

I’ve always loved the idea of outfit of the day posts, I just don’t really wear outfits worthy of being photographed too often. Even this one is nothing special. EXCEPT for my new shirt from Carolina Cottonwood (IG) (via Etsy).

It’s super rare that I treat myself to anything, especially new clothes, but I love the show Fixer Upper on HGTV and if I could have my dream home it would look just like any they’ve ever designed. That being said, I melted when I saw this “Shiplap” shirt on Etsy and couldn’t resist placing an order.

It looks good with gym shorts or yoga pants and converse, or even with jeans and a flannel to “fall” it up a bit.
